The Social Sell was born from one too many G+T’s—like all incredible life decisions—and crafted over several months in between working on our own businesses.

Yep, your facilitators are actually practicing what they’re preaching. And this is why the course was created. After deciding there’s only so many articles we can write about make-shift butt plugs, we left our high-flying jobs in online publishing (lol) to pursue our own businesses.

It was only a matter of time—we’re talking weeks—that it took us to make the same cash money we were taking home in our other jobs. Naturally, everyone started asking us how we made it happen. Were we surprised at our success? Not at all!

Brand yourself like a boss

Your brand is more than just a logo. It's your identity image, personality, communication and experience. It's what will get people to stop in the street, see a colour and think of you.

You don't need to buy that expensive DSLR camera or hire someone. You just need some guidance from two babes who take all their own pictures for social. Yep! Learning how to effectively use your iPhone is going to save your life. Soon you'll have your cousin ask you to shoot her wedding and you'll be the go-to photo taker at events! We'll teach you:

Who are your facilitators?

Peta Serras

Founder of her company Professional Babe, Peta is a butter enthusiast, fan of a good em dash and a crude meme. She's a former Pilates Instructor who founded an award-winning studio in the Hunter Valley. She released a Pilates DVD and was the health contributor for Marie Claire, MiNDFOOD, Oxygen, Woman’s Day, Mamamia, Women’s Health & Fitness and Good Health magazine. Impressive, huh?

In April 2017, she sold her business to focus on writing and to build her own brand that saw her getting out of activewear for good. She spends her days, writing, educating and working as a business strategist.

Her business superpowers include:

  • Helping people realise they're a writer and they're capable of turning that 'head confetti' into killer content
  • Seeing the small gaps people avoid and overlook and how focussing/tweaking/changes these can result in the biggest improvements in your business
  • Cultivating a winning mindset. Self-development is her jam and her pep talks will make you stop, drop everything and do the work in your business you've been avoiding
  • She has also been known to weave in a dating anecdote or two, so who knows, you might get some dating advice when you're finding out how to cultivate a relationship with your customer.




Cherie Birks

Cavalier oil user, professional laundry dodger, and mother of dragons (ok, two rambunctious kids), Cherie Birks is mostly fuelled by strongly caffeinated soy milk. In a past life as a jeweller, Cherie worked for the first ecommerce diamond company in London, before she returned to Australia and became the executive editor for one of the country’s largest parenting websites.

Here she created content for national household brands like Domestos, Nestle, Blackmores, and Aldi, growing the readership of the parenting platform to over 4 million hits per month and 0.5 million followers on social media.

Determined to use her powers for scalable good, in 2017 Cherie dove right into her own business as a natural health educator. Here she gets to create, grow, and give value as much as she pleases, and teach people how to do the same in their own business.

Cherie’s business prowess include:

Who the hell are Peta Serras and Cherie Birks?
We know what you're thinking — "why haven't I heard of these legends before?" We hear it all the time! If we took you all the way back to the start you'd need a cuppa, numerous snacks and at least two solid hours of reading time. So here's the precis — We both come from a background in online and print publishing; Think Marie Claire, Women's Health & Fitness, Good Health, MiNDFOOD and more. We were the ones responsible for those clickbait headlines that you love to hate. We both left around the same time to pursue our own online businesses and used the skills we learned in online publishing to promote, write and create our own content without having to pay a VA or contractors. And when we're not doing that, we work as businesses strategists and consultants.
What's this course all about?
I'm having a little laugh that you scrolled through the entire sales page with all the nitty-gritty information to find this question! If you scroll back up, you'll see the course structure, outlines and modules we'll work through in a four week period.
I don't do doTERRA, is this still for me?
You could have a subscription-based panty service or sell taco's on the side of the road and get so much value out of this course. It is designed for ANYONE who has a product to sell online, whether that be service-based, a network marketing product or something you whip up in your kitchen. If you want to learn how to sell your service or product online, this course is for you.
Woah! How come there's no payment plan?!
Couple of things. Firstly, did you know 35% of people who purchase a program with a payment plan will default on their payments? This can be from a couple of different things—new credit card and not enough funds being the main ones—but it's then up to us to chase these payments. Secondly, did you know neither of us have a VA or an assistant? So it would mean taking time out of our allocated time we've jotted into our schedules for this course to chase up payments. We know you'd be the kind of person to update their details or pay as soon as something happened, but you also know not everyone is like this. Potentially in the future it'll be something we offer.
When I buy this, does this mean a genie is going to pop out of a bottle and do the work for me?
Ha, no! What a comedian you are. You're going to do have to do the work yourself — that is the joy of having a business! This course will provide the framework for you to fill in and give you an idea of the process that's required if you're selling a product or service online. It will be up to you to figure out exactly what is involved in that. And a quick little tip whilst I've got you here — there's this notion that failing or not figuring something out the first time means you suck, it doesn't, it just means you're doing the work. It could take a couple of goes or continually reviewing modules to really get things to stick and for you to have clarity around something. As our mentor Brooke Castillo says, aim for B- work as if you're wanting things to be perfect it's never going to happen. This is also why you have lifetime access to the content and can follow the course along each time we run it — and we recommend it!
What format is it delivered?
The theory and workbooks will be saved via this teachable page. Once you've purchased the course, you'll set yourself up with a login that you'll use to access the course work. You'll also need to be on Facebook to participate in our lives and to mastermind with the other babes in our community. Don't have Facebook? It's free and easy to join and we promise we won't tell your Mother in Law you've got it!
Do you do refunds?
As per industry standard, we don't offer refunds on programs or resources that can be downloaded or digital training. We've sold digital resources for the past eight years and we're yet to have anyone email us with, "Wow, this stinks like a roadside poop on a balmy Summer day!" We've also capped the participants in each round to ensure we can support you as best as we can in the Facebook group. If you're having problems or need to ask a question please ask us, we'd be more than happy to help and workshop it through with you.

Will you be personally answering every question and does this include private sessions and one-on-one support?
Yes and no. We will answer every question that is posted in our Facebook group when it is live. We understand the 'I'll just do this another time' mentality that you can have with online education. We didn't want that for this course which is why the Facebook community will be open for one month when our course kicks off. Ask as many questions as you wish in this time but after this date the group will be locked. This means you can still have access, search, watch the videos and soak up the goodness, but you'll be unable to post until we offer the next intake. If you're after one-on-one support, we both consult privately. If you need help with a particular part of you business, please contact us. We have reduced rates for members of The Social Sell.
Can I write my log-in on my Facebook wall for everyone to use?
Oh boy, you just made me laugh! We'd ask you to keep your username just for you and for you to only have access to the content provided. Anyone who is in violation of these terms will have their membership revoked and will not receive a refund.
I'm not based in Australia, can I still purchase this?
